Aubri O’Connor is a co-producer and co-founder of Nu Sass productions along with Emily Todd. Aubri is also one of the principal company members for Nu Sass.
Aubri has been seen with Nu Sass as Rosencrantz in the 2009 Capital Fringe Festival production of Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead, Suri/Serge in the 2010 production of Art, and Polly in the 2010 Capital Fringe Festival production of Cavers and the 2010 fallFRINGE Festival production of Cavers.
An alumna of Oberlin College, Aubri honed her acting chops in various productions, most notably Betty’s Summer Vacation, The American Dream and Rhinoceros. She also fine tuned her producing skills as part of the Oberlin Musical Theatre Association.
After graduation, Aubri co-founded Nu Productions with Eriko Miyagawa in Beijing, China. There they produced both Savage/Love and The Vagina Monologues independently, and again for the 2006 Beijing International Art Festival – all of which Aubri also performed in. Shortly afterward, she joined with Keri Seymour in NYC to found Flaming Pants Productions. They produced Out of Gas on Lovers Leap together, and locked in a 4 show season with WOW Cafe of NYC as a result.
When not working to make gender equitable theatre in DC, Aubri can be found working as a private tutor, kayaking the Potomac, or traveling across the globe. Aubri would like to thank everyone for their support of Nu Sass, and encourages you to contact her if you’d like to know more about supporting the company.
