Betsy Haibel is ecstatic to be returning to DC theater after several
years’ hiatus. Past designs include Busted Jesus Comix for Renegade
Theatre and Stuart Little for Adventure Theatre; she’s also worked, in
various capacities, for the Washington Savoyards, the Shakespeare
Theatre, Washington Shakespeare Company, Synetic Theater, Imagination
Stage, the Washington Revels, African Continuum Theater Company, GALA
Hispanic Theatre, and Tribute Productions.
In her day job, she helps
people build playgrounds – she considers this the spiritual cousin of
set design.
