Tim Chamberlain

Tim Chamberlain has degrees from the Berklee College of Music, Lehman College and CUA. He studied dance with Merce Cunningham, improvisation with Judith Chaffee, Horton technique with Susan Rose, and Ballet with Maggie Black. He studied acting with Jim Sproule at Boston University. He directing credits include: L’amour médecin, Noises Off, The Two of Us, Women of Shakespeare, UNcontentED LOVE, Comedy of Errors, Uncle Vanya, Les fourberies de Scapin, Orpheé and Huis Clos. His most recent work has focused on collaborative non-verbal pieces of theater: Swept Away with Iosif Schneiderman, Desire/Regret with Monique Holt, Andrew Korfhage and Jenifer Alonzo, and Are Your Ears Blind? with Monique Holt. He was the Music Director for Gallaudet University’s production of Urinetown, the musical. Recent performances include Mara Neimanis’ The Snow Queen. He teaches workshops related to theatrical interpreting through Sign Performing Artists, Inc. including: Shakespeare’s Sonnets, Richard II, and Light in the Piazza.
